International Micro Electronics and Packaging Society is the outcome of the successful merger of ISHM & IEPS. This society came into existence since November 1996 and drawing affiliation to the IMAPS International Chapter globally.
Subsequently, IMAPS India has successfully conducted three international conferences namely EMIT-96, EMIT-98 & EMIT-2K at Bangalore with overwhelming participation globally. It is to be noted that around 50 NRI participants are significantly contributing to the IMAPS activity in India.
IMAPS India is a non-profit technical society dedicated to advancing microelectronics, hybrid microcircuits, and electronic packaging in India. Established in 1985 under the leadership of Prof. Sonde, the society unites experts from academia, R&D, and industry.
Affiliated with IMAPS International since 1996, we connect India’s microelectronics community with global chapters and have hosted several key national and international conferences.
Registered under the Karnataka Societies Act, IMAPS India continues to promote research, partnerships, and knowledge exchange through its strong professional network.
